Udinese Calcio (Serie A TIM) has launched an eSports division in order to participate in the eSerie A TIM (see below), according to the Italian club on 04/02/2020.

The club will hold an eSports tournament in the auditorium of the Dacia Arena (25,132 capacity) via PlayStation 4 on a football video game (FIFA or PES), in order to select two eSports talents, on 11 and 12/02/2020. Interested players, who must be at least 16 years old, have until Saturday 08/02/2020 (at 19:00 CET) to register.

"eSports is a growing global phenomenon especially among young people. It is a project in which Udinese Calcio strongly believes and that is aimed at creating a community and hosting eSports events at the Dacia Arena in the future," explained the club.
