"I am very positive about the future of the sport business. At OM, we have rewritten our strategk to think of ourselves as a content company. So our focus is to create both local and global content on a mass scale. From a monetization persepctive, we are doing work for our partners. In terms of a perfect business model for monetizing content, there isn't one. If there was a fantastic answer, we wouldn't be here talking about how to use our content," stated Tracey Russell (USA), the chief operating officer of McCourt Global, the owner of Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Conforama) and the LA Marathon (among other sports assets), at the inaugural Global Sports Week 2020 conference in Paris at the Carrousel du Louvre on 06/02/2020.

Tracey Russell spoke alongside Richard Brisius (SWE), race chairman of Ocean Race, and Andreas Zagklis (GRE), secretary general of FIBA in a discussion titled "Battle for Gen Z: Priorities for Sport to Survive".
