LFP: Intel's immersive cameras to be used for the first time in Ligue 1 during PSG - OL

Intel Corporation, an American company specializing in IT and electronics, has become a technological partner of the French Professional Football League for the installation of immersive "360°" video capture technology in Ligue 1 Conforama stadiums, announced the LFP on 06/02/2020. Intel's cameras are already present at the Parc des Princes (Paris Saint-Germain) and will be installed at Groupama Stadium (OL) and Orange Vélodrome (OM) "for the start of the 2020-21 season".

Intel's technology, named "Intel True View", enriches the fan experience of clubs thanks to content captured in immersion by multiple 5K ultra high definition cameras capable of offering in particular 360° slow motion and different points of views such as 'player vision', as if the viewer is watching the action from the player's eyes. This technology will make it possible to view or review a game action from all possible angles and thus offer supporters an unprecedented immersive experience," detailed the LFP.
