Premier League: Neil Adams becomes new manager of Norwich City

English manager, Neil Adams, has been appointed manager of Norwich City (Premier League), announced the club on 06/04/2014.

He replaces Chris Hughton, sacked after the seventeenth defeat in thirty-three matches, on 04/05/2014, against West Bromwich Albion (0-1). The former Irish international (53 caps between 1989 and 1991), had held the position since 07/06/2012, and is the ninth manager to have been sacked in the Premier League in 2013-14.

Neil Adams had previously led the club's U18 team.

After 33 matchdays, Norwich City are 17^th in the Premier League with 32 points (8 wins, 8 draws and 17 defeats). They are just ahead of Fulham (27 points), who are in the first relegation spot.
