"We've set goals for carbon neutrality within our operations for 2030. I think it's having these sort of goals that can resonate with a fan," said Chase Carey (USA), executive chairman and CEO at Formula One Group, at the inaugural Global Sports Week 2020 conference in Paris (FRA) at the Carrousel du Louvre on 07/02/2020.

Chase Carey participated alongside in a discussion titled "The New Challenge, Organising Major Events in a Purpose Driven World", alongside Sally Bolton (ENG), strategic planning and operations director and future chief executive of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, organiser of the Wimbledon Grand Slam tennis tournament; and Ibrahima Wade (FRA/SEN), general coordinator for the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2020.

"We have the opportunity with the resources that we have, and the influence we have particularly, to be a greater force for good. I think as a major event you've got a very important role to play that goes beyond just delivering a sporting event," said Sally Bolton.
