GSW 2020: "Fearless Football programme to prevent the sexual abuse of women" (Prince A. bin Hussein)

"We're doing a programme called 'Fearless Football' to prevent the sexual abuse of women in the sport. When we started in one of the refugee camps, we were working with UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) at the time. We wanted to use football to teach them about landmark awareness so hopefully one day we'll get zero (abuse)," said Prince Ali bin Hussein (JOR), at the inaugural Global Sports Week 2020 conference in Paris (FRA) at the Carrousel du Louvre on 07/02/2020.

The Prince of Jordan participated in the "Meet The Change Leader" during Global Sports Week. The former vice-president of FIFA served as a member of the international federation's executive committee as well a member of the AFC executive committee (see below).

"We've worked with the Norwegian government, LaLiga and the UEFA Foundation so we have pitches in both our refugee camps. We train roughly about 5000 kids. With over 400-500 coaching staff from their own society, which is very important," said Prince Ali Bin Hussein.
