Pro League (Belgium): TV rights not awarded due to lack of distribution agreement between clubs

The broadcasting rights for the Jupiler Pro League in Belgium, starting with the 2020-21 season, have not been allocated as of 07/02/2020. "In the absence of an agreement on the distribution model, the general assembly has been postponed until 21/02/2020," announced the Pro League during an extraordinary general assembly on 07/02/2020.

The pay-TV group Eleven Sports is said to have offered the best deal, slightly over €100m per year according to the Belgian media. But the G5 clubs (the five clubs that acheived the best results over the previous five seasons: FC Bruges, RSC Anderlecht, Standard Liege, La Gantoise and Racing Genk) want the €80m surplus from the current cycle to go entirely to them, while the smaller clubs are asking for at least 20%. The G5 clubs are threatening to sell their rights themselves, while they share 57% of the €80m of the current contract, according to Belgian media.
