Serie A TIM: Kappa extends as an equipment supplier of SSC Napoli for two seasons (2020-2022)

Kappa has extended its contract with Societa Sportiva Calcio Napoli (Serie A TIM) for an additional two seasons (2020-2022), according to the club on 10/02/2020. The Italian brand has been the equipment supplier of SSC Napoli since 2015-16.

Kappa replaced another Italian equipment manufacturer, Macron, for the 2015-2020 cycle (€8m/season). Macron paid SSC Napoli an estimated €2-€3m for the 2014-15 season. Kappa was also previously SSC Napoli's equipment supplier during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons.

"The two-year renewal of the agreement expiring on 30/06/2020 was strongly desired by Marco Boglione - president of BasicNet Spa (parent company of Kappa) - and Aurelio De Laurentiis - president of SSC Napoli - with a view to discussing the terms of a new longer-term agreement without interfering with the performance of related business activities already underway for the next two seasons," said the Neapolitan club.
