Formula 1: Ineos (chemicals), principal partner of Mercedes-AMG Petronas for five years (2020-2024)

Ineos, a company specialised in the chemical sector, has extended its partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport and become a "principal partner" of the team for five years (2020-2024), according to the two parties on 10/02/2020. Ineos had previously signed a technical agreement for its sports subsidiaries with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport on 18/12/2019: Ineos Team UK (sailing), Team Ineos (cycling) and OGC Nice (Ligue 1 Conforama).

As part of the extended agreement, Ineos has become a principal partner, the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the car racing team. The brand will be visible on several areas of the 2019 world champion team's car, offering a touch of red on the 2020 livery that was presented at the same time as the partnership. Ineos is therefore visible on the upper air intake, on the edges of the front spoiler and on a section at the rear of the vehicle.
