Champions League 2013-14: Paris Saint-Germain will receive €55.1m, and Marseille €32.9m

Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1), eliminated (3-1, 0-2) by Chelsea FC (Premier League) in the quarter-finals on 02 and 08/04/2014, will receive €55.09m for the 2013-14 Champions League (excluding other revenue directly generated by the club, especially home game tickets). This amount represents a €10.4m increase (+23.3%) compared to the income received by the Parisian club for the 2012-13 Champions League (€44.69m).

Following the quarterfinals played from 01 to 04/09/2014, News Tank featured an updated table of income that participating clubs are already assured to collect from UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), organiser of the competition.

Paris SG retain the top spot of the guaranteed income before the semi-finals (first leg on 22 and 23/04/2014, second leg on 29 and 30/04/2014). The draw is scheduled on 11/04/2014 in Nyon (Switzerland) at UEFA headquarters at 12:00 CET.

Among the semi-finalists, only Real Madrid (currently 2nd, with guaranteed income of €46.75m) and Bayern Munich (4th, €44.6m) can still hope to bypass Paris Saint-Germain in the standings of income from…
