Decathlon: a turnover of €12.4bn (+9.1%) in 2019, including €3.3bn (+3%) from France alone

Decathlon posted a turnover of €12.4bn in 2019, an increase of 9.1% at constant exchange rates compared to 2018 (€11.3bn), according to the French designer, manufacturer and distributor of sporting goods, on 11/02/2020.

In France, Decathlon generated a turnover of €3.3bn, an increase of 3% compared to in 2018 (€3.14bn), of which 7.7% was generated from online sales. This share of turnover generated via the internet is roughly the same worldwide.

Internationally, Decathlon opened six new markets (including Japan, Vietnam, Algeria and Serbia) in 2019, bringing its total number of stores to 2,193 in 57 countries by the end of 2019. The group has 93,000 employees worldwide, including 23,000 (24.7%) in France.
