LaLiga Santander: Maheta Molango, CEO of RCD Mallorca since 2016, leaves the club

"Maheta Molango is to step down as CEO of Real Mallorca (LaLiga Santander)," announced the club after a meeting of its board of directors on 11/02/2020.

A former professional player with spells at Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) and Brighton & Hove Albion FC (Premier League), the lawyer joined RCD Mallorca, who were in the Spanish third division at the time, in January 2016.

"I would like to thank Maheta for his leadership of the club for the past four years during which time we achieved successive promotions, improved the fan experience, established new marketing partnerships and improved our youth academy. His passion and hard work have set the standard for the club, and we wish him all the best in his future career," said Andy Kohlberg (USA), president of RCD Mallorca.
