eSports: each of the Top 5 European football leagues have their own competition on FIFA

The Ligue de Football Professionnel, Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH, LaLiga, Premier League and Lega Serie A, the Top 5 European professional football leagues, all possess their own eSports competition as of 12/02/2020. The latest addition is the eSerie A TIM, announced by the Italian league on 05/02/2020. All these competitions are played on the football video game FIFA 20 published by the American video game publisher EA Sports.

Of these five competitions, two have a title sponsor: the eSerie A TIM (Telecom Italia) and the eLaLiga Santander (Banco Santander). The eLigue 1 organised by the LFP was previously named "Orange e-Ligue 1" for the 2016-2019 cycle, while at its inception in 2018-19, the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) was named "TAG Heuer Virtuellen Bundesliga". When it was launched in March 2018, the eLaLiga Santander was known as "McDonald's Virtual LaLiga eSports". The ePremier League has not had a title sponsor since its launch in January 2019.
