Europa League 2013-14: Sevilla - Valencia and Benfica - Juventus in the semifinals

Sevilla (Liga BBVA) will face-off against Valencia (Liga BBVA) and Benfica (Liga Zon Sagres, POR) will clash with Juventus (Serie A), in the semi-finals of the Europa League 2013-14, following the draw carried out at the headquarters of UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), in Nyon (SUI), on 11/04/2014.

In the first semi-final, Sevilla will play the first leg at home at Sánchez Pizjuan stadium on Thursday 22/04/2014, and the away leg at Mestalla stadium on Thursday 31/04/2014.

This is the first time in the history of the European Cups that Sevilla and Valencia will meet. In the matches between the two teams in La Liga in 2013-14, FC Valencia won the first match (3-1) at home and the away match resulted in a draw (0-0). The two teams have met 144 times in the domestic competitions, with 67 wins for Valencia, 53 wins for Sevilla and 24 draws.
