The presentation of "Transform CAF 2021", the Confederation of African Football's "roadmap for the 2020-2021 period", was on the agenda at the CAF Executive Committee meeting held in Doha (QAT) on 14/02/2020 (document to available to download).

"The plan is aimed at spearheading the transformation of CAF in two years, and transforming CAF into an organisation managed bounded by the best international standards. This roadmap will focus on structural reforms, some of which started in 2019, whilst others have already yielded dividends," explained the African body. 

According to CAF, "Transform 2021 is based on four main pillars:
• Organisation and governance
• Competitions
• Refereeing
• Infrastructure development."

"These 4 pillars will be implemented though 122 measures of which 17 have been deemed of the highest urgency and should be completed by June 2020 (see below)," specified CAF.
