Champions League 2013-14: Atletico - Chelsea and Real Madrid - Bayern Munich in the semi-finals

Atletico Madrid (Liga BBVA) will face Chelsea FC (Premier League) and Real Madrid (Liga BBVA) will take on Bayern Munich (Bundesliga), in the semi-finals of the 2013-14 Champions League, following the draw carried out at the headquarters of UEFA (Union of European Football Associations), in Nyon (SUI), on 11/04/2014.

In the first semi-final, Atletico Madrid will play the first round at Vicente Calderon stadium on Tuesday 22/04/2014, and the away match at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday 30/04/2014.

Atletico Madrid and Chelsea have already crossed paths in the Champions League: in 2009-10 (group stage), Madrid earned a 4-0 victory over Chelsea in London and a 2-2 draw at home. The two clubs also faced each other in the European Supercup 2012; Atletico Madrid winning 4-1.

In the second semi-final, Real Madrid will play the first match at Santiago Bernabéu stadium on Wednesday 23/04/2014, and the away match at Allianz Arena on Tuesday 29/04/2014.
