With €635.9m in turnover in 2018-19, Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama) was ranked fifth place in the Deloitte Football Money League 2020, compared to twelfth place for Borussia Dortmund and with a turnover of €377.1m, as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the 2019-20 Champions League Round of 16 first leg at the Signal Iduna Park (Dortmund, GER) on Tuesday 18/02/2020 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

According to the 2020 edition of the Deloitte Football Money League, while Borussia Dortmund received generated more audiovisual revenue than Paris Saint-Germain in 2018-19 (€167.3m versus €156.6m), the German club lagged far behind in terms of matchday revenue (€59.6m versus €115.9m) and commercial revenue (€150.2m versus €363.4m).

With 77 million fans on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as of 01/02/2020), the Parisian club has 2.7 times as many as their German opponents, who have just over 28 million.
