FC Barcelona: Barça Academy PRO to open in Miami (Florida), the club's second in the United States

"The board of directors have approved the creation of the second Barça Academy PRO in the USA, in the city of Miami (Florida). It joins the existing academy in New York, in Long Island," announced FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) on 11/02/2020.

"The Barça Academy PRO Miami will have a total of three headquarters spread around the city, to help bring it to a large number of players in the city centre and surrounding areas. It is the eleventh project for the club in the United States, the country with the most Barça Academy locations," said FC Barcelona, which has had offices in the USA, in the heart of New York, since September 2016.

The Barça Academy PRO, also developed in São Paulo (BRA) and Haikou (CHN), is a football school project that goes further than a classic Barça Academy. The club is setting it up in territories that it considers strategic both in sporting and commercial terms, two areas that it then manages directly. The club's operational involvement is therefore greater.
