Serie A TIM: Italian Macron extends as equipment supplier of Bologna FC for 3 seasons (2020-2023)

The Italian brand Macron has extended its contract with Bologna FC 1909 (Serie A TIM) for three seasons (2020-2023), according to the club on 18/02/2020. The two parties, linked since 2001-02 and initially until the end of the 2019-20 season, will therefore continue their collaboration until the end of the 2022-23 season, representing a 22 year partnership.

Macron, headquartered in Bologna (ITA), will continue to benefit from visibility on signage at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara (29,500 capacity) and on the club's communication platforms, as well as from hospitality packages.

The financial amount for the 2017-2020 period is estimated at €2.4m per season, excluding bonuses. For 2013-2017, Macron paid €1.2m annually to Bologna FC. Macron is the most represented equipment supplier in the Serie A TIM in 2019-20 with six clubs under contract: SSC Lazio, Hellas Verona FC, Udinese Calcio, Cagliari Calcio and SPAL 2013 (see below).
