With €521.1m in turnover in 2018-19, Tottenham Hotspur FC (Premier League) was ranked eighth place in the Deloitte Football Money League 2020, in which RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) did not feature, as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the 2019-20 Champions League Round of 16 first leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London, ENG), on Wednesday 19/02/2020 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

According to the 2020 edition of Deloitte's Football Money League, Tottenham received audiovisual revenues of €276.7m, commercial revenues of €151.9m and matchday revenues of €92.5m in 2018-19. The total amount and details of RB Leipzig's revenues have not yet been communicated for the financial year 2019 - the club's accounts relate to the calendar year - but they have been estimated at around €300m by the German media.

With 26 million fans on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as of 01/02/2020), the London club has almost 25 times as many as their German opponents, which total just over 1 million.
