AFEX (Associated Foreign Exchange Limited), a British company specialised in payment solutions and risk management has become a partner of Watford FC (Premier League) from 2019-20, according to the club on 23/02/2020.

AFEX will have the status of "official FX (foreign exchange) partner", the second level in the club's sponsorship heirarchy. As part of the agreement, the company based in London (ENG) "will help Watford FC and its players with their international transactions," said the Hornets.

"This is a relationship that benefits both parties. Given the nature of a Premier League club's trading model, it makes sense to maximise the expertise that the industry experience of AFEX can bring to our work. We are pleased to have them on board as a key partner of the club as we head into this most important part of the 2019-20 season," said Scott Duxbury, chairman and CEO of Watford FC.

  • "AFEX is deeply involved in the sporting industry in the UK and around the world, supporting federations, clubs, athletes, service providers, and other organisations involved in the business of sport
