Piracy: Didier Quillot (LFP) elected president of the APPS, Mediapro France joins the association

Didier Quillot, CEO of the LFP, has been elected president of the Association for the Protection of Sports Programmes (APPS) and replaces Yousef Al-Obaidly, president of beIN Sports France, "in accordance with the association's statutes, which provide for its presidency to alternate every two years between the members of the school of 'broadcasters' and the school of 'rights holders'," explained the APPS on 25/02/2020.

"The members of the APPS have also ratified the candidacy of Mediapro France to the school of observer members," said the association.

A new board of directors was also elected at the APPS general assembly on 24/02/2020:
• School of broadcasters:
- Yousef Al-Obaidly, president of beIN Sports France
- Laurent Prud'homme, CEO of Eurosport/Discovery France
- Maxime Saada, chairman of the management board at Canal+ Group

• School of rights holders:
- Didier Quillot, CEO of the LFP
- Jean-François Vilotte, CEO of the FFT
- Paul Goze, president of LNR
- Jean-Pierre Siutat, president of the FFBB
