Sport1 will broadcast the two quarterfinals of the 2019-20 Women's Champions League involving German clubs Olympique Lyonnais (D1 Arkema) - FC Bayern Munich (Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga, GER) and Glasgow City FC (Scottish Women's Premier League 1) - Vfl Wolfsburg (Flyeralarm Frauen-Bundesliga), free-to-air, announced the German free and pay-TV group on 24/02/2020. The first legs will take place on 25/03/2020 and the second legs on 01/04/2020.

This is the first time that Sport1 will broadcast all the Women's Champions League quarterfinals involving German clubs for free, according to the channel.

The broadcasting rights for Women's Champions League matches are marketed directly by the clubs, with the exception of the final. From the 2021-22 season onwards, with the introduction of a new format for the competition (see below), these rights will be centralised by UEFA from the group stage onwards and marketed via the Swiss agency TEAM Marketing.
