LaLiga Santander: Valencia CF open an academy in Marrakech (Morocco), the club's first in Africa

Valencia CF (LaLiga Santander) have opened an academy in the city of Marrakech (Morocco), its first on the African continent, announced the club on 17/02/2020.

The Marrakech academy will be headed by Enzo Aliaga, a former Valencia CF youth team coach, and will be managed in partnership with DK Pro Sports, an agency specialised in the implementation of projects for young sportsmen and women. "The club will offer advice and consultation, and the methodology implemented will be that used at the Ciudad Deportiva training facility in Valencia (ESP). There will also be campuses and training clinics in several areas of the country, and the players from the different programmes will have the chance to travel to Valencia to undertake sessions," said the Spanish club.

Morocco is the eleventh country with a Valencia CF academy after Japan, the United States, Canada, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Estonia and Greece.
