Coupe de France: Sport1 acquires non-exclusive broadcasting rights for Germany (2020-2022)

Sport1, has acquired the non-exclusive broadcasting rights to the Coupe de France in Germany from the agency IMG, until 2021-22, announced the German free and pay-TV group on 26/02/2020.

The semi-finals will be broadcast on the pay-TV channel Sport1+ while the final will be broadcast on the free-TV channel Sport1. Sport1 also acquired the rights to highlights for digital broadcast.

The OTT platform DAZN acquired the rights to the competition, also until 2021-22, under an agreement covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 28/01/2020. DAZN began live coverage from the Round of 16 match AS Monaco FC - AS Saint-Etienne (0-1) on 28/01/2020.

Sport1 will broadcast at least 19 Coupe de France matches per season over the 2016-2019 cycle.
