The Premier League has launched the "ePremier League USA presented by NBC Sports", a new eSports competition on the FIFA 20 football video game for players based in the United States, according to the English league on 24/02/2020.

The competition, which will "give United States-based players the opportunity to represent their favourite clubs", is being organised in partnership with NBC Sports, the sports subsidiary of the US audiovisual group NBCUniversal, which owns the rights to the Premier League in the United States (2016-2022).

The ePremier League USA will be played on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The competition will be held in three phases, with online qualifiers, where 20 players per console will be chosen to represent the 20 Premier League clubs, followed by online playoffs to determine the finalists. The finals will be played at a "Fan Fest" hosted by NBC Sports in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA) on 04 and 05/04/2020. The winners of the tournaments on the two consoles will compete against each other to determine the overall winner of the competition.
