Genoa Cricket and Football Club (Serie A TIM) has signed a partnership with Pro2Be, an Italian eSports agency, "with the aim of competing in the eSerie A TIM (see below) and on the international scene", announced the Italian club on 01/03/2020.

The eSports players, Gabriel "Genoa_Gabry7" Llaho (FIFA) and Rosario "Genoa_NPK02" Accurso (PES 2020), have been recruited to represent Genoa Esports.

Launched by Lega Serie A in collaboration with Infront and PG Esports on 05/02/2020, the eSerie A TIM takes place on the FIFA 20 (EA Sports) football game on the PlayStation 4 (Sony Interactive Entertainment) video game console. The tournament, which began on 10/02/2020 with a series of online qualifiers, will conclude in May 2020 with a major public event that will crown the eSerie A TIM champion.
