Basketball: New Balance (equipment manufacturer), official marketing partner of the NBA from 2019-20

New Balance, an American sports equipment manufacturer, has become an "official marketing partner" of the National Basketball Association from 2019-20 as part of a "multi-year agreement," announced the NBA on 27/02/2020.

As part of the partnership, the brand will produce and broadcast original digital content in collaboration with New Balance athletes wearing NBA jerseys with their respective team logos. The partnership officially launched the "We Got Now" global campaign with NBA player and New Balance ambassador Kawhi Leonard (see below), which aired during the Denver Nuggets - Los Angeles Clippers game (103-132) on 28/02/2020.

New Balance also unveiled the "KAWHI", the first pair of sneakers designed by the Los Angeles Clippers player (see below), at the 2020 NBA All-Star Game played at the United Center in Chicago (Illinois, USA) on 15/02/2020.

  • A New Balance collection entitled "Inspire the Dream" in partnership with Kawhi Leonard including t-shirts, different models of shoes, a sweatshirt and a bomber jacket, have been available via the brand's online store  since 30/01/2020.
