Leicester City FC (Premier League) posted a turnover of £178.4m (€201.1m on 31/05/2019) for the financial year 2019 (01/06/2018 to 31/05/2019), up 12.2% compared to the financial year 2018 (£158.9m/€181.2m), according to the English club on 03/03/2020.

The increase in turnover between 2017-18 and 2018-19 "represents a continuation of a trend since the club's promotion to the Premier League in 2014, with turnover increasing on average by nearly 20% every season, omitting the extraordinary figures of 2017 (£233m/€266.7m) under the previous UEFA Champions League distribution model," said Leicester City. Commercial revenues (£29.9m/€33.7m, +110%) were the main source of the revenue increase in 2018-19 compared to 2017-18. TV rights revenue, which accounts for 72% of the club's revenue over the period, was stable at £127.9m (€144.2m, up 3%).

In 2018-19, Leicester City FC posted a net loss of £17.4m (€19.6m), compared to a profit of £1.5m (€1.7m) at the end of the 2017-18 season. The club's main reasons for this result were attributed to investments in the development of the new training…
