Bundesliga: Bitburger (GER) extends as official beer of FSV Mainz 05 for 2020-2022

The German beer company Bitburger has extended as partner and official beer of FSV Mainz 05 (Bundesliga) for an additional two seasons (2020-2022), according to the German club on 05/03/2020. The agreement was negotiated by Infront, FSV Mainz's exclusive marketing agency for the 2015-2031 period.

Bitburger, a partner of FSV Mainz 05 since the 2013-14 season, will continue to benefit from the status of exclusive partner, the third level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the German club. Under the new agreement, the beer brand will also continue to be sold at the Opel Arena (34,000 capacity) and retain its marketing rights.

The German beer brand will pay €600,000 to Mainz 05 FSV in 2019-20. Bitburger is the most represented beer brand in the Bundesliga 2019-20 with three other clubs (Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim).
