Covid-19: Not awarding the 2019-20 Serie A TIM title "would be a great loss" (G. Gravina, FIGC)

Not awarding the 2019-20 Italian championship title, to use the current standings as the final ranking (Juventus FC, winners of the previous eight editions, in the lead after 26 matchdays), or to organise playoffs between the top four for the title (Juventus, Lazio, Inter and Atalanta, see full standings below) and relegation playoffs between the bottom four (Genoa, Lecce, SPAL and Brescia), these are the three proposed solutions "without any order of priority" by the FIGC Federal Council, in case that the 2019-20 Serie A TIM season cannot be completed due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, according to Gabriele Gravina, president of the Italian Federation Federation, on 10/03/2020.

All sporting events have been suspended throughout Italy until Friday 03/04/2020 by Giuseppe Conte, Prime Minister of Italy, on 09/03/2020, due to the epidemic that began in China at the end of December 2019, which has affected more than 10,000 people and has caused the death of more than 630 people in Italy as of 10/03/2020.
