Covid-19: Inter Milan and its owner Suning donate 300,000 masks to Italian Civil Protection

FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM) and the Chinese multinational company Suning, owner of the club, are donating 300,000 masks as well as other health products (protective clothing, disinfectants, etc.) to the Italian Civil Protection in order to "to support the fight against the Coronavirus emergency," announced the Milanese club on 12/03/2020.

"We hope that China's successful experience in fighting against the Coronavirus can help to stop the virus spreading quickly in Italy. At the same time, we will continue and strengthen our contribution to support Italy in fighting against the emergency," said  Steven Zhang, president of Inter Milan and Suning International. Lombardy, of which Milan is the capital, is the Italian region most affected by the Coronavirus Covid-19, an epidemic that began in China at the end of December 2019 and has already affected more than 15,100 people in Italy and caused more than 1000 deaths as of 13/03/2020.
