Scotland: adidas to succeed New Balance as supplier to Celtic FC for five seasons (2020-2025)

adidas will become the official supplier of Celtic FC (Ladbrokes Premiership) from 07/01/2020 for five seasons (2020-2025), announced the Scottish club on 13/03/2020. This agreement covers the match uniforms and training kits of the Celtic FC men's and women's teams.

The German brand will succeed the American equipment supplier New Balance, partner of the club for the 2015-2020 cycle. This agreement amounts to £30m over the five years of the contract. Regarding the partnership with adidas, Celtic FC specifies that it is "the biggest equipment supplier contract ever announced in Scottish sport". In the 2019-20 Ladbrokes Premiership, Aberdeen FC and Hamilton Academical FC are also equipped by adidas.

Before New Balance, Celtic FC was successively equipped by Umbro (1976-2005) and Nike (2005-2015). adidas is therefore the fourth equipment supplier to the Scottish club since 1976-77. adidas Group also generated revenue of 23.6 billion euros in the 2019 accounting year (from 01/01 to 31/12/2019).
