eSports: Panasonic (electronics), becomes an "eFootball partner" of FC St. Pauli (2.Bundesliga)

Panasonic, a Japanese electronics group, has become an "eFootball partner" of the FC St. Pauli's (2.Bundesliga) eSports team from 2019-20, according to the club on 11/03/2020. The German club plays in the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL), the eSports competition organised by the DFL.

"Panasonic will equip the congstar-Séparée (box and eSports training centre inside the Millerntor-Stadion), the home of our eFootballers, with high quality 4K UHD TV sets and thus raise the technical requirements for FCSP to a new level," said FC St. Pauli.

"The reaction speed of TV sets is indeed an often underestimated feature. If the image processing takes too long, you often have a decisive disadvantage. Thanks to Game Mode, Panasonic TVs have a clear advantage here," said Tom Köst, Xbox player for FC St. Pauli's eSports team.
