Panasonic, a Japanese electronics group, has become an "eFootball partner" of the FC St. Pauli's (2.Bundesliga) eSports team from 2019-20, according to the club on 11/03/2020. The German club plays in the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL), the eSports competition organised by the DFL.
