Paris Basketball: "The name of Paris and the future arena are crucial to our project" (David Kahn)

"I think the Paris name is critical, just like the new arena (at Porte de la Chappelle, the northern edge of the Paris city limits, delivery planned in 2020), for our project. I think we would not be sitting there if it weren’t for that name and the arena. They are two really important elements. The exclusivity is just as important: we are the only basketball club using the name Paris," stated David Kahn, president of Paris Basketball Investments, holding entity and owner of Paris Basketball (French basketball second division), to News Tank Football on 11/03/2020.

A new multi-sports hall will be built at Porte de La Chapelle, announced the Paris City Hall on 12/06/2017. This infrastructure must in particular host wrestling and basketball events during the 2024 Olympic Games, awarded to Paris on 13/09/2017.
