"Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Conforama) has decided, through its Foundation, to immediately allocate a total of €300,000 to aid the management of this (Coronavirus) crisis," announced the French club on 19/03/2020.

According to OL the sum that they have decided to donate "will be divided into two main areas:
• €100,000 to finance via the Hospices Civils de Lyon Foundation (HCL), the two clinical research projects carried out by teams of medical researchers from the Hospices Civils de Lyon
• €200,000 to meet the emergency needs of our territory (materials and equipment for the Hospital, aid to the most vulnerable)."

"Olympique Lyonnais reiterates the urgent need to comply with all of the directives issued to limit the spread of this virus as much as possible and supports all the healthcare personnel which they want to help as they need it," added the club.

A "contribution to respond in the most pragmatic way possible to the most urgent needs" (Olympique Lyonnais, 19/03/2020)
