Covid-19/ US Sports: NFL, NBA and NHL offer free access to their OTT platforms

NFL, NBA and NHL are offering free access to their respective OTT platforms due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, according to the North American Sports Leagues on 18 and 19/03/2020.

The NFL, whose 2019-20 season ended with the Super Bowl on 03/02/2020, is offering free access via the NFL Game Pass to games from the last 10 seasons as well as documentaries until 31/05/2020. The 2020-21 season is scheduled must begin on 10/09/2020.

The NBA, whose 2019-20 season has been suspended since March 11/03/2020, is offering free access via NBA League Pass to games of the 2019-20 season as well as legendary games until April 22/04/2020. The NHL, whose 2019-20 season has been suspended since 12/03/2020, is providing the same type of services on NHL.tv until 30/04/2020.

The MLB has not yet (as of 19/03/2020) made a similar announcement, while the MLS (which does not have an OTT platform) has been broadcasting legendary matches for free on YouTube, Facebook and its official website since 19/03/2020.
