Covid-19: Hellas Verona FC (Serie A TIM) donates €30,000 to a local health center

Hellas Verona FC (Serie A TIM) and its president Maurizio Setti have decided to contribute to the fundraising campaign entitled "AiutiAMO Verona", promoted by the Municipality of Verona (Veneto, ITA), the Fondazione Comunità Veronese and the Athesis Group (publishing), by donating €30,000 to the Scaligera health centre to fight Covid-19, announced the club on 19/03/2020. The Coronavirus pandemic has already reached 63,927 people and killed 6,077 people in Italy as of 24/03/2020.

"In this way, we are helping the medical and health staff who are facing a dramatic and unforeseen situation, while also supporting the enormous effort of the City of Verona that in this emergency is doing its utmost for the good of its community and individual citizens," said Maurizio Setti.

"I invite everyone to donate as much as possible: at this moment every contribution, whether small or large, is of vital importance," added the president of Hellas Verona FC.
