Covid-19/UEFA: European Cup finals officially postponed, no new dates decided

The 2020 Champions League final at Istanbul's Atatürk Olympic Stadium (TUR) is no longer scheduled on Saturday 30/05/2020. UEFA has officially postponed the match "as a result of the Covid-19 crisis in Europe," on 23/03/2020.

The same decision has been taken regarding the Europa League final, which was scheduled to take place at the Gdansk Arena (Stadion Energa Gdańsk) in Gdansk (Poland) on Wednesday 27/05/2020 and the Women's Champions League final scheduled to take place at the Austria Arena (Generali Arena) in Vienna (Austria) on Sunday 24/05/2020.

"No decision has yet been made on rearranged dates. The working group (UEFA/ECA/European Leagues), established last week as a result of the conference call among the stakeholders of European football, which was chaired by UEFA president, Aleksander Ceferin, will analyse the options available. The group has already begun its examination of the calendar. Announcements will be made in due course," said the European Confederation.
