Covid-19: US Sassuolo Calcio (Serie A TIM) donates €100,000 to the town's hospital

Unione Sportiva Sassuolo Calcio (Serie A TIM) has donated €100,000 to the Hospital of Sassuolo (Emilia-Romagna, Italy) to help medical and health staff fight Covid-19, announced the club on 22/03/2020. The Coronavirus pandemic has already claimed 6,820 lives in Italy as of 25/03/2020.

"US Sassuolo Calcio and Squinzi family gave their contribution to the operational structures on the territory in this moment of serious health emergency. The donation is aimed at the direct purchase of personal protection devices and equipment for intensive care," explained the club.

The club is also offering supporters the opportunity to contribute to the support of the Sassuolo hospital by donating money by bank transfer or by providing equipment or food.
