LaLiga Santander: Real Madrid CF launches a channel on Twitch during a charity eSports tournament

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) has launched an official channel on the streaming platform Twitch (owned by Amazon) dedicated to influencers and video games, according to the club via Twitter on 21/03/2020. Real Madrid, which joined the video sharing platform TikTok on 07/06/2019, is thus expanding its presence on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube).

This launch came alongside the charity eSports tournament launched by the Spanish League "LaLiga Santander Challenge" on FIFA 20 (published by EA Sports) and won by Real Madrid CF player Marco Asensio on 22/03/2020. Real Madrid has 10,850 subscribers on its Twitch channel as of 25/03/2020. Real Madrid is broadcasting some of the club's historic matches on its channel, such as former Brazilian international Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima's first match for the club.
