The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, which has officially reached more than 536,600 people worldwide and killed over 24,100 as of 27/03/2020, caused the postponement of Euro 2020 for one year (rescheduled from 11/06 to 11/07/2021, announced UEFA on 17/03/2020) and the suspension of all the main professional football leagues in Europe.

"The main players in world, European and national football have not finished evaluating the many consequences, particularly economic, that could result from the persistence of this crisis over time," emphasised Mr Valentin and Mr Guennad.
