Covid-19: "We are ready to produce masks and gloves in factories in China" (G. Pavanello, Macron)

"We are in contact with the Chinese authorities who are dealing with requests for missing sanitary equipment. In China, we are ready to produce all kinds of masks in certain factories, but also aprons, gloves, shoes and everything else you need, disposable or not. We just need to know what we need and get the green light from the Civil Defence," said Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of the Italian equipment manufacturer Macron, to the local Italian daily newspaper Corriere Di Bologna on 24/03/2020.

"We have about 30 employees in China who can work to obtain certified products. The import will be done thanks to our logistics platform which still distributes shirts all over the world. The first materials could arrive within a week," explained the CEO of the brand based in Bologna (Emilia-Romagna, ITA) and equipment supplier of its local Serie A TIM club (Bologna FC 1909).
