Covid-19: Arsenal FC donates to local charities and lends cars to National Health Service workers

Donating money to local charities, making cars available to the NHS (National Health Service, public health network in the United Kingdom) health workers, creating educational content for children deprived of school... these are the main initiatives of Arsenal FC (Premier League) in the fight against Covid-19, at a time when the Coronavirus pandemic has already reached more than 11,600 people and caused 578 deaths in the United Kingdom on 27/03/2020.

"The Arsenal Foundation will donate £100,000 (€109,000) to local charities and organisations that are supporting those most in need during this Covid-19 crisis. A further £50,000 (€55,000) already donated to local community initiatives by The Arsenal Foundation, in partnership with Islington Giving, will also be re-directed to Islington Giving's Crisis Fund as part of this Covid-19 community response," said the London (ENG) club on 24/03/2020.
