eSports: Cagliari Calcio, SPAL 1913 and US Sassuolo (Serie A TIM) all launched teams in March 2020

Cagliari Calcio (Serie A TIM) has launched an eSports team in partnership with the Italian electronic sports agency Pro2Be on 25/03/2020. "Cosimo 'NBD2699' Guarnieri and Giuseppe 'Spagnols88' Spagnolello will be the captains of the section on FIFA 20 (published by EA Sports) and PES 2020 (published by Konami) respectively. The section will host two video game players chosen by the club via an online qualification process," said the club.

Società Polisportiva Ars et Labor 2013 (Serie A TIM) also launched an eSports team in partnership with WeArena, an Italian company specialised in digital entertainment and dedicated to virtual reality, on 19/03/2020. Elio "Skloppa" Cirillo (FIFA 20) and Salvatore "Gagliardo28" Gagliardo (PES 2020) became the club's first eSports players.

Unione Sportiva Sassuolo Calcio (Serie A TIM) also formed a team in collaboration with eSports Academy, an agency specialised in eSports, on 06/03/2020, and welcomed the players Pietro "TeamPEDA" Lorusso (FIFA 20) and Stefano "Stejinn7" Segatori (PES 2020).
