eSports: Sinergy (energy), main shirt sponsor of Hellas Verona FC eSports from 2020

Gruppo Sinergy, an Italian energy company, has extended its partnership with Hellas Verona FC (Serie A TIM) and has become the main shirt sponsor of the Italian club's eSports section from 2019-20, announced the club on 24/03/2020.

"The official kit will be based on Hellas Verona's 2019-20 third kit of the equipment manufacturer Macron," said the club that launched Hellas Verona FC eSports on 28/02/2020, on the video games FIFA (published by EA Sports) and PES (Konami). The section was created in partnership with Outplayed, an Italian company specialised in eSports, which has provided Hellas with two players for the entire season.

Sinergy has been a partner and main shirt sponsor of Hellas Verona FC for its senior men's team for the period 2018-2021 (€0.5m/season). Five Italian clubs launched their own eSports teams in March 2020 (as of 27/03/2020), while the Lega Serie A also launched its first eSports competition, the "eSerie A TIM", in 2020 (see below).
