OGC Nice: all donations to the Endowment Fund to be reinvested to help fight Covid-19

"All donations made to our Endowment Fund during this period will be directly reinvested into concrete aid for those fighting against the Coronavirus," announced Jean-Pierre Rivère, president of OGC Nice (Ligue 1 Conforama), in a message to fans published on the club's website on 28/03/2020.

"Know that your club, true to its values, is committed to the people of Nice by striving to be as useful as possible. We are at the service of the social structures and are constantly listening to them. They know that they can count on us," added the president of OGC Nice, while the Covid-19 pandemic has already caused the death of more than 2,600 people in France as of 30/03/2020.

INEOS, a company specialised in the chemical sector and owner of OGC Nice, also announced on 24/03/2020 the construction "within 10 days" of two hand sanitiser factories, one in the UK and one in Germany in order "to produce 1 million bottles per month" which will then be supplied to hospitals free of charge.
