Covid-19: FC Girondins de Bordeaux launches a fundraiser for the Bordeaux University Hospital

"In the context of the intense health crisis affecting our country and our region, FC Girondins de Bordeaux (Ligue 1 Conforama) is launching the 'Pièces Blanches' ('White Coins') collection (see link below) with the aim of raising funds for the Bordeaux University Hospital," announced the French club on 30/03/2020.

"The sums collected will be used to help purchase ventilators and essential equipment to support hospital staff, who have been involved for many weeks in the fight against Covid-19," added Girondins de Bordeaux, who also announced the creation of the Cœur Marine & Blanc endowment fund (see below), "which has already provide €15,000 for the CHU and nursing staff."

"Whatever the amount, each donation is important. Healthcare staff throughout the region are going through complicated times and we hope that the outburst of generosity generated can help them overcome the difficulties of everyday life," continued the Bordeaux club.
