Brazil 2014: FIFA launches Panini virtual sticker album for 2014 World Cup

FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) launched the Panini online sticker album for the 2014 World Cup (Brazil, 12/06 to 13/07/2014), on 15/04/2014.

"I am pleased that we are able to provide this experience to fans virtually through FIFA.com. In 2010, over 1.4 million users registered for the South African edition of the virtual album, with a third of those managing to complete their entire collection, and I have no doubt the 2014 edition will engage even more collectors across the world," said Thierry Weil, FIFA marketing director.

Collectors can gather stickers of 11 players from each of the 32 teams (352 players in total), and an additional 40 including the mascots, the official ball, the World Cup trophy and badges of the participating federations.

Participants in this contest have until 31/08/2014 to complete their album. A random draw will take place for people who have completed their set by this date: 50 participants will receive a hardcover album of the virtual stickers and 200 participants will receive a free download code for a set of 10 stamps on…
