Serie A TIM: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts of the 20 clubs (April 2020)

The 20 clubs competing in the 2019-20 Serie A TIM season total nearly 192 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, according to data collected by News Tank Football on 01/04/2019. The Serie A TIM is the third most popular Top 5 European league on these three social networks combined, behind the Premier League and LaLiga Santander, with an average of 9.7 million fans per club.

With nearly 88 million fans across all three social networks, Juventus FC is the most popular Italian club ahead of AC Milan (39.6 million) and FC Internazionale Milano (29.2 million), which posted an additional 750,000 likes on Facebook during the month of March.

Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio was the Serie A club that posted the best percentage growth on Instagram (+11.3%), Facebook (3.5%, tied with Inter Milan) and Twitter (+2%).

Juventus FC posted the second best growth in absolute value on Instagram among the clubs of the European Top 5 in March 2020 (+987,000), behind Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, +1.3 million followers).
